Sprint is back in Cite Soleil, Haiti! Today Sprint visited the local library we are supporting, brought PABs Packs to a hospital in Cite Soleil and hung out at our community court. Sprint also made a guest appearance at Radio Boukman (a local Haitan radio station) where Sprint’s director Sadrack and Sprint’s president Sam were interviewed about the program. Additionally, Sprint had successful meetings with Sasha from E-Power and Alph from Federation of Haitian Basketball, discussing how we can better work with Haiti and the future of basketball development. What a day! Look out for photo’s, videos and more throughout this week. Please share and gen espwa (have hope)! 🇭🇹
The Sprint children formed a heart with balloons to pay tribute to the people who died in the earthquake of January 12th, 2010. At 4:53, the hour the earthquake happened, we released balloons into the air to symbolize hope.
Sprint to Cite Soleil's director, Joseph Sadrack, gathered with some of the player's parents to discuss their kids goals and receive feedback on the program. Amazing to have the relationships we do with these great parents!
Sprint to Cite Soleil had 6 players selected for a camp for the Haitian Basketball. The boys names were Federation Mesilus Deluckson, Dieuvens Luxieux, Pierre Ville Lovens, Otes Banel and Joseph Oudmael (all 15 years old). Amazing work boys, and thank you for representing Cite Soleil and Sprint!
